Okay, so, big news of the day...other than I had 4 cups of tea in the span of 2 and a half hours this morning (don't try that, I'm serious) ... is I gave notice at my 2nd job! Had to be over the phone because my manager was going away till Tuesday and she didn't want to let it sit until then (no worries, I assured her I wanted to do it in person).
So, they need some time to find a replacement, but...I will soon have my evenings and weekends free. To do what though? Probably clean and keep the house at a normal level of tidyness, hang out with Ray and maybe get some more beaded pretties churned out. But we shall see.
Feeling slightly guilty though, but that's only me. They really didn't do anything wrong, collectively as a whole. I mean, there are many agents who drive me bonkers on a regular basis...but on the whole, the managers have been nice and they did appreciate me...some agents would take for granted that they had a typing monkey (sometimes I do think that's how they see us) at their disposal. But I'm sure once I've had my full week of not having to work nights or weekends, the guilt will wear away.
I've done it for 3 years now...was only supposed to be a part time job and now it's making me very tired and frustrated so...it's for the best. :)
