I think that's what this weekend is going to consist of, me drowning in episode after episode of The O.C. until I feel completely better (aka...distracted) and I can clean the bedroom with more efficiency tomorrow.
I went shopping last night and finally found some jeans for Ray at Old Navy, I got him two pairs because they were having a sale and you can never have too many jeans. I went to the GAP and just picked up a couple discounted tops...and it figures that the pants that look soooooooo good with them would be $90....I don't have that money to spend on pants, $50 for 2 pair of jeans, yes...$90 for one...that'll I'll have to hem....*ahem* NO!
But the real thing I was looking for was a wee night stand or little end table for my side of the bed. Went to Homesense-nuthin, went to Pier 1-sumpin but way too much for way too little, even went to Sears, Bombay Company, etc. Finally...we were leaving the mall and went into Winners and found a nice little square table, with a drawer and lots of space underneath for a magazine basket. It had a couple wee chips so Dad negotiated and got $10 off because it hadn't been reduced yet. So I got a nice new table and a basket for $82. Pretty damn good!
Now all I have to do is stick to the plan of actually cleaning tomorrow and not sitting around on my ass like I want to do. LOL! I'm just trying to picture the room after it's cleaned and I've got my little end table in there.
