Yes yes, I said I wouldn't ramble on about knitting, and I won't, I just wanted to brag a little and buck myself up. You see, I was in an awesome mood this morning; knit night tonight, I had a nice lazy night last night and wasn't Damian super hot on Life??? I was pretty good, until the bossman said that we're going to be cutting back on hours until things pick up *headdesk* That just about sucked a whole bunch. So I've been trying to make myself feel better and resolve to make more beady things and yarny things and put them on the ol etsy site to make more money. So, we'll see how that works out.
Anyway, back to my little 'pat on the back' so to speak. I have my own little skein of yarn that I HAND SPUN!!! With my little drop spindle and 100% alpaca fibre :D It's been drying for a whole day after I set the twist and I couldn't be happier - 76 grams and 113 yards of pure creamy softness, and I made it with my own two hands!
So there you have it, I will knit through this recession and make jewellery. There.
