I am writing my 2 wk notice.
I am giving my 2 wk notice.
It's been fun (*cough,cough*), but it's time to move on.
4 years and nary 2 months is my new all-time holding-the-same-position record.
I've tried to quit in the past (and how I've tried!) but there were so many reservations, so little options, and the sense of impending doom and social pariahship. But today? I'm feeling pretty good about this.
I have a nice steady package to ship this job in.
I want to focus on school, to do the best I can so I can be the best I can be.
World domination, baby.
Or, atleast, personal domination. About time, near 32 years later...
Odd how that "near" makes me feel older than just spitting out the number.
31 years, 10 months, 20-something days... damn math. I've got better things to do, like writing a 2 week notice. Or I will continue being ungainfuly employed there until I expire of old age.
