WriterConUK 2010!
I'm so excited! It's coming up fast and if last year is anything to go by, and the year before and the year before that, etc., it'll be brilliant! Lots of chat and laughter, good food, copious alchol for those so inclined (who, me?) and a bit of education chucked in. What could be better?
It's the weekend 6-8 August in Coventry, starts with a social gathering on Friday night, follows with talks by those members who are willing to impart their (considerable) knowledge about all aspects of fandom, from writing to art to betaing to reviewing, and ends with a raffle. All events should end with a raffle. Must tell Showmasters. *g*
If you fancy a wonderful weekend where you can talk about your favourite fandom(s), OTP(s), get into a deep conversation about why you prefer gen, het, slash, femslash, tentacle porn and not have to worry for a second that you've been too geeky, register here or express an interest! The more fandoms covered, the better. Makes for more interesting chat and your horizons may be broadened.
