Late in the evening, Walter came in, leading Nadia. "Hi, Al."

"You're back," Nadia said, stating the obvious which was a nice change from stating the truth.

"Hi! And yep, I am," Alphonse finally slammed his suitcase shut, setting it on the floor beside his bed. "Had a good weekend?"

"We played with handcuffs." Nadia squeezed her eyes shut and hastened to add: "In detention." Then, because apparently it was the theme of the night. "And in here."

Walter's face flamed, not a mere blush, a raging inferno of blush.

"Nadia's sick. She was going to sleep here tonight. Just sleep," he added quickly. "No handcuffs."

Alphonse rose a brow, uncertain with how handcuffs could be used as 'playing material'. "You are? Get better soon then, and you're still welcome to stay."

"Thanks. We won't do any sexy stuff while you're here." Nadia facepalmed. "I'm going to go to sleep, now."

Walter grabbed his pajamas and headed for the bathroom. He opted to just say absolutely nothing at all, thus avoiding the matter of weird truths.

Alphonse blinked and resisted the urge to ask what they've done while he wasn't here. "Um, okay. Night, Nadia."

Nadia modded with permission got into bed and a few minutes later, Walter came out of the bathroom. "Welcome home, Al. Sorry about the oddness. We'll be good, I promise."

"Walter, you don't need to keep telling me you'll 'be good'," Alphonse sighed.

"Everyone's talking about our sex life tonight," Walter said quietly, as not to disturb Nadia. "Even Blair. It makes it difficult to not talk about it. But I'm just going to stop talking and go to bed now. Good night."

"If it helps any, I didn't plan on ever bringing it up. Bed sounds good though, and I'm exhausted like you wouldn't believe." Alphonse flopped on his bed as if to prove this. "Night."
