good times :)
So this was a suprisingly good weekend, i had nothing planned (due to a lack of funds) so decided to wander around town with mum n dad on saturday...they bought me some brekkie at debenhams, which was soooooo nice...except the eggs...they wernt cooked properly ¬¬
ANYWAY
got to about 10, and they wanted to do some christmas shopping, so i went to starbucks, to get a hazelnut hot chocolate and ran into a mate of mine (nad) was kinda random, as we were both in town with other people doing nothing, so we decided to form a new team and ramble around together.
the town was stupidly busy, there were possibly 3 bands/musicians clogging up the high street, the front of some shops were like barred off as there was a special guest coming to town (still dunno who?) so the wlakways were smaller than usual :/ we got pretty fed up so decided to go see jackass at the cinema (at this point i rememberd dad owes me ebay money, so i tracked them down and begged XD)
right
so we got to the cinema, it was pretty quiet, so we asked about jackass...and there was only one screening on saturday at 11pm....fuck that :/ im too old to sit in a cinema at night XD
so we gave in and decided to go see harry potter (which is the reason there was only one screening that day of everything not harry potter..as it was showing every 15minutes in screen 1-10 of an 11 screen cinema...joys XD)
but yeah, it was brilliant, i wont bore with the details, but ive not read the books, so as a film i found it really enjoyable, some of it was a little dark for a 'childrens' story, and theres a cool little animation scene near the end :)
we were out the cinema by about 3ish, and as usual named today a movie day, so we went back to nads for junk food, pizza, booze and cheesey movies XD
we sat and watched...
i want candy, which was a funny little film about media students trying to make a final project for thier course, and it turns out to be a porno?
cockle's and muscles, which was a french film about a family on holiday, and they were all sleeping around, being gay, not being gay, masturbating in the shower and breaking out into song every so often...alot of talk about seafood and shellfish ?
sweeny todd, i cba to explain that one.. im pretty sure you guys have all heard of it XD
mallrats, a BRILLIANT BRILLIANT film...if you havent seen it GO SEE IT!!! its... its got stan fucking lee in it!! nuff said!!
27 dresses, again...not going into details :/
and then finished of the night..well morning with the wedding date, which again i proboly dont need to explain, but we only put it on for the sexy wedding dance rehersal bit <3
god knows what time it was then, we clonked out watching it and woke up about 8 in the morning..to which nad went for a shower and i fell back to sleep feeling a bit worse for wear XD
got back up at nine, got dressed finished off a tub of chocolate brownies and a bottle of irn bru from the night before, and was ready to go, Nad's sister kindly dropped me off at my bus stop, as they were off to colchester to celebrate her birthday and i snoozed on the bus and got home about 1ish? and everyone was in a terrible mood (stupid grey weather !!)
no-one could decide on lunch, so i made the decision to cook up a load of thoose frozen festive nibbles you get like...breaded prawns, chicken parcels/kebabs, bree n cranbery parcels, and onion rings..and a random chicago town pizza, and we just sat in silence picking at greasy finger food XD
i got pretty sick of this so i turned on the laptop, found a random pub quiz page and read off about 100 questions, which started to get very competitive between mum dad n nic, so i started keeping score, and giving really REALLY random clues to answers no-one knew... i set my mum off in a fit of laughter, as i acted out hammering down a door and waved n said 'hellooooo' in a wierd voice and smiled XD...was trying to gove her the answer of jack nicholson..but she was in too much histerics to even speak.... it wasnt even that funny XD
but it cheered everyone up, and saved us from a horrible day of gloom!!!
weve just had a beauuuuuuutiful roast chicken dinner and apple crumble!!!...was gorgeous <3
nic did the dishes as i/still am too tired from a long night XD
this proboly sounds really boring so thanks for reading this far XD
i'll wrap it up here with a glum note, i got in contact with a cosplay commisioner ive used in the past to get prices for the costumes i want doing, and she said that her tailors dont think they can do the costumes, so she wont take the commisioner to save me money incase all goes wrong :(
which is a shame, as they did a great job on my maria costume, and at such a good price!! was only £60 from china i think including postage!!
but ah well...at least this means i'll learn how to sew a bit better, ive got nout else to do during the week/month/year O.O
