(no subject)
Well.. I'm going to a Family Ministry Conference in August. It's in Arizona. So I thought I'd take the following week off, as well.
Now, going on a vacation by yourself is definitely not the biggest thrill in the world, but I guess it's better than sitting on my butt watching Malcolm in the Middle reruns! My thought is that after the conference is done, I'll rent a car and drive from phoenix to San Diego (two days), throw it up to L.A. (two days), catch Las Vegas (two days), and then book it back down to phoenix for my flight. It's quite a drive, and I'll have to check the car rental rates, but that way i could get a little glimpse of everything. I guess I'd rather be active than to stay in one place the whole time. I'll be in phoenix for a week, anyway.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Be my travel guide for Sat. Aug. 13 through Fri., Aug. 19 (I'll probably take a flight back early on the 20th), starting at Phoenix, AZ. Person with the Best itinerary wins a plateful of cookies or something fun like that.
