A lot has gone on in the past two weeks. Big things. Small things. Honestly, I don’t remember a lot of what happened, but my few senior week memories include:
- walking to the bar in the rain to get breadsticks, sans umbrellas. The power went out when we got there, which inspired certain people to expose themselves. Mmmyeah. On the way back from the bar, we were practically attacked by two dozen, 3 inch long, slimy earwiggy critters crawling out of the river. Nothing in invert zoo prepared me for those repulsive little beasts of the Kzoo.
- Our Grey’s Anatomy and sangria party. 1 season and 5 liters of sangria really prepared us for graduation.
- I ate at Baldwin! Two years later, the food isn’t any less greasy or bland… but they had chocolate muffins, and I rejoiced.
Graduation was rather anticlimactic. It was cold, rainy, and in the Dow. I barely saw anyone I knew before leaving, and actually got a SPEEDING TICKET on my way out of town. Bastards. At least it’s my first one, which isn’t all that bad being that I’ve been speeding for six years. However, only in Albion would you get a ticket for what I did; Albion cops don’t believe in warnings. Or laughter.
As glad as I am to be done, I’m really going to miss my friends and so much of college life. There are things done in college that are really only socially acceptable in college; I’m going to miss that. Granted, I’m going to be "in college" for the next four years, but it’s more of a “grown-up” institution now. Somehow, I have to convince people not only that I’m intelligent, but that I can be trusted with human lives. Hmm...
Wedding number one of the seven I'll be attending this year is this Saturday in Boston. We leave tomorrow for what is surely going to be the longest car ride of my life. oi.
