a new addition
My sister had her baby today around noon. It is a baby girl and they are naming her Gwendolyn Rae *not sure on the spelling of the first name* (Lynne is my mother's middle name and Ray is my father's middle name). Both baby and mother are fine. I can't wait to go to Colorado and meet my new niece!!! I'm so excited and so sad that I was not there.
I haven't heard back from sooner theater yet, but I am still hoping that I will get the job. Also, still waiting on the Dr. office to get back to me with a time for an MRI.
Meanwhile, I have started playing Atelier Iris which is a pretty fun game. I have also set up some concerts to sing at for Christ the King Church in OKC to bring in a little extra money since I am now only working half days at the car dealership. I am hoping that they will get fed up and "let me go" or be "no longer able to hold my position" since it is a full time position and that way I am not being fired exactly but do not have to quit and give notice, etc. Even if I don't get the Sooner Theatre job I have to get out of there, I'm so not happy there. I wish I was going back to school with the rest of you actually... I miss school. I am thinking of going for an MBA before/instead of a law degree in a couple of years. We'll see. Working full time has definitely helped me realize that I want to do grad school of some kind... unfortunately, music undergrad dosn't leave me with a ton of options.
My best friend, Lindsey moved to Norman on Saturday and started her new job as a teacher at a preschool. I'm so happy that she is here and I have a close girlfriend in town again. Since Clara left, I have been so lonely for girl time, I miss you Clara!
I am going to miss all of you that are leaving the country this week- lucky people. Have adventures and take pictures.
Well, I guess that is all. I'll write as soon as I have news of jobs and backs and babies again!
