Hello!
I'm back·back·back!
to my normal universe I guess in which I more or less control the circumstances, and I am able to do things like update my livejournal!
I've been traveling. I went back home to Madrid for a couple of weeks & took a short trip to Paris with my family.
Unfortunately I didn't get to work really while I was over there so my blog was on pause :(
I did write an article about one of my favorite things that you should
check out! even if the subject grosses you out at first!
It was very exhausting overall. I easily have trouble sleeping and I slept very little and bad through out the whole tirp & we walked for 8+ hours a day during our weekend in Paris, which really whipped me out.
Besides that, it was pretty fantastic in many ways.... In Paris we stayed in a hotel in a street named Magenta! Like my hair!!
+ I got to spend some real quality time with my mom & sister.
Also my friend Jillana from Wisconsin, who is spending a year in Denmark, came down to visit me in Madrid. It was great because I've been to here home in Spring Valley, WI (which is a 1,200 people town in the forests) many times, and I think it was really eye-opening for her to see where I come from.
Madrid is just a concrete jungle. It's so full of people. It feels like every time I go back there's more people in the subways, more cars in the streets. It really surprised Jill how people double-park constantly in Madrid and just keep an 'ear out' for honks. The ridiculous thing is that nowadays you often see triple-parkings! And this is in the super narrow concept of streets we have in Spain.
It gets pretty overwhelming when you've gotten yourself acostumed to the open space and air of wisconsin.
I miss home though, in many ways. But it isn't something that I couldn't replicate somewhere else with the right people and resources. I like Madrid, for shopping & going out , but besides that, I have to be honest, it isn't really my kind of town.
And some excellent shopping I did! I hadn't been shopping in forevaaa...but thanks to the generosity of my lovely parents I got to buy some AWESOME things. Shopping shopping I love shopping yes I do!
I've been debating as to whether I should write about my awesome finds in my blog. I never intended it to be about fashion! But I'm so about fashion....*sigh*
If I don't I'll just post about it here!
I went to the "legendary" (everyone kept telling me it was!) Marché aux Puces Paris's awesome flea market & supposedly the biggest in the world. It was a very exciting experience , I love Flea Market Shopping. I wrote about it
here.
I got back on Thanks Giving (it was a sad mistake I made because well...I don't know when thanks giving is!!!how am I supposed to know?!?!?! what is thanks giving, really?!?)
and I've been working as much as my body has been allowing it ever since. Trying to get my etsy shop up & running in time for some holiday shopping! I hope I can work it out! otherwise....you can spend your christmas money on the cutesy treasures I'm making for you!!!

PS: Nubby Twigglet fans (and herself) look what I saw in Paris! I wonder what it means!
