(no subject)
Well...I'm back from Toon - Town...safe and sound!!!
I had the BEST 5 days with my sister...holy shit was it ever fun there! The weather certainly was NOT typical of Saskatoon for this time of year. It was beautiful everyday I was there with plus temperatures like +2 and such...it was awesome. Hell, my sister and her friends were complaining about the cold and I was totally content! ANYwho...I got in around 7pm on Friday night and we just relaxed at Sandras for a bit and had a bite to eat. Later in the evening we went to an Irish pub, had a few drinks and played darts...t'was loads of fun! One really funny thing happened that I don't wanna post on here...so if ya wanna know...just ask! Moving on...Saturday Sandra, her friend Christine and I went shopping. I bought two things from Roots and a hoodie from the Gap. On the way home we went to the liquor store to stock up on alcohol and then went and bought stuff for dinner. Christine went home for a bit so Sandra and I could hang out and relax...then she came back for dinner...and shortly after 7pm Sandras friends started to show up. Sandra, Wade, Christine, Kirk, Josh, Regan, Lacy, Mavis, Andrea, and I played cards and had a few drinks to get the party going...and later on we went to a bar called "The Pat". More of Sandra and Wades friends were there...I met soooo many people it's just insane. We all had a fuckin awesome time...lots of alcohol and dancing were involved!! I had the best night ever...my pictures prove it! We took 24 pictures at the bar alone...crazy eh?! Anyways...apparently when we got home we called my dad and left a couple drunkin messages on the answering machine...he was at work...when I got home yesterday I listened to them...they're fuckin hillarious!! ANYways...Sunday we all slept in and woke up with massive hang overs...hung around the house for a bit then drove to a town about an hour away called Bigger...Wade's aunt and uncle live there. For some reason all of Wades family wanted to meet me...but whatever...so we went there and had a nice dinner and visit...they were very nice people! Sunday night Marcy (Sandra's best friend) came over and we watched a movie and basically just had a relaxing night. When we got up Monday morning we ran a few errands...got pictures developed, went to get hair stuff from a wholesale place...MUCH CHEAPER than a salon! Then we went back to Sandras and Marcy put streaks in mine and Sandras hair...then she cut a bit off mine! Marcy is a hair dresser...so it was all professionally done and cheap...she didn't want any money for doing my hair but I gave her 25 bucks anyways! Then on Monday night once Marcy left to go back home (Lloyd Minster Alberta)...me, Sandra, Wade, and his dad all went to another pub for beer and wings and played some pool. It was lots of fun and Wades dad is super nice. The two guys even had a show down of who could eat the most wings...of the HOTTEST variety!! T'was rather funny if I do say so myself! ~LOL~ Then Sandra, Wade and I went back to Sandras to watch a movie and veg out. Tuesday Wade had class so I drove him to U of S that way we could have the car for the day. After that Sandra took me to the clothes shop in the university to buy some sweat pants and I also found some cool light blue pants...they look like hospital scrubs and say "U of S" on the bum...I really like them and they're soooo comfy! Then we went downtown where I bought more clothes! They have a store called I think "The Jean Shop". They have the most helpful staff...I ended up buying 2 new pairs of jeans (a dark pair and a light pair) and a pair of "Olive" colored Kakis (can't spell), and a navy blue zip up hoodie. The two of us then went to the mall to grab a bite to eat and I managed to find 3 more t-shirts in which I bought of course! After doing a few errands we went back to Sandras to cook a fuckin awesome meal! We had roasted chicken, scalloped potatoes, rice, and steamed broccoli and carrots with a cheese sauce...Oh man was it ever yummie! After dinner Lacy came by to hang out for a bit and to say goodbye to me...she's fuckin cool as hell...I think she was my favorite of all of Sandras friends, but Marcy comes in a close second! ~LOL~ We picked Wade up from class just after 10pm and came back to the house for me to finish packing and play NHL Monopoly (can't spell). Once again it was tons of fun! Wednesday morning we all got up, had a coffee and then it was off to the airport. I'm not gonna get into details on here 'cause I'm already sick of typing...so if you wanna know details just ask. But what I will say is I hate Air Canada! My flight to Vancouver wasn't too bad...had a nice couple sittin beside me and there wasn't too much turbulance so that was good. But from Vancouver to here was fucking horrible...MASSIVE turbulance the whole way...I felt so sick afterwards...it was just wrong....but I made it home safely and had such an awesome time!! Depending on when I get home from Europe and whether or not I have any money left...I wanna go back in the summer for another visit 'cause then we can do more and such...only this time I'd go for like 10 days...5 just wasn't long enough! ANYwho kids...I must be going now...I hope to see you all soon...if I can switch shifts on Saturday...I'm gonna have a few people over...if you'd like to come...gimme a ring!
