(no subject)
SO i rented the uhaul yesterday, did some grocery shopping, picked up our lease, and priced a lot of what i am selling at the yard sale on saturday.
when i picked up the lease (and dropped off a check) i was reading through it, and it the provisional rules for the house (or whatever it was called) there was: NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN BUILDING. fine, right, i am not going to smoke cigarettes in our apartment anyways cause that's gross, but what about pot? there is no one above us or below us, we share only one wall with other tenants. the house is VERY old, as i've said, so it would make sense that they are concerned with fire safety, and she did tell us that it has a "sophisticated" smoke alarm system.....
i don't know. i mean, worse comes to worse, i will start taking walks or bike rides every night. chris hates that idea, cause sometimes he's a dorky square. i blame it on all his years of being straightedge.
right now my plan is to ask her if burning incense is okay, will it trigger the alarm, and if she says it's fine, then we are good to go.
what a dumb thing to spend so much time thinking about.
i've been sleeping terribly and i am losing weight without trying. huh.
