There was a Chinese lights spectacle going on for the end of the year/new year, and so the Zoo and the Astrid Square (which is right next to the Chinatown (which is mostly just one big street, mind) were decorated very beautifully. I wish these were out all year long!

It was the one day it REALLY froze. There was also some snow, but it turned into a frozen mess pretty quickly.
