Farewell, o kittenstripes!
Soon I'll be dyeing my hair to a color approaching its natural brown, and letting the blonde and red streaks grow out. As much as I love the color stripes, it's done a lot of damage to my hair. I don't want to continue bleaching it like this, as it's thin, frizzled, brittle, and dreadfully unhealthy. I'd rather have long, healthy hair, thanks.
Also? I think I may have my first grey hairs under there! Other women fuss about such things, but I'm thrilled. It's about damn time. (My family goes grey early, but I've been lagging behind.) I want to grow my hair naturally now to see that silver shine!
Besides... I can think of better things to save up for than neverending reapplications of bleach and dye. =)
