I finished transferring and cleaning up the lineart on the board for this week's painting. I then reached out for the masking tape... which was not there. I rummaged through the studio. No tape. Kitchen, Living Room, Office, back to the Studio, Bedroom, Bathroom, Studio again, Kitchen Table, Studio... ::grumble, grumble::
I announced loudly, "Nobody near this house is getting ANY offerings until I get my thrice-damned masking tape back!!!"
::ping:: It's downstairs. You took it down there to hold up [diffusion paper] when the pretty actor boy came to pose as a prince for you.
Ah, right. I walked downstairs, and there it was, front and center, clean and ready.
I came upstairs, and before sitting down to paint, I carried a few things out to the front porch. An antique doily, a delicate heirloom china cup and saucer. I poured a cup of cream and smiled in thanks.
