Buying a second monitor seemed a bit of an extravagant treat for myself (by my standards, at least). However, it's true utility has just been revealed.

Lucy stalked across my desk and stood in front of the monitor, completely blocking it. So I moved the window over to the other monitor and kept working. Hah! This battle is mine!
