Mom's House....
So Im in SD to continue my work on the house and have realized until I buck it up and get the dumpster I wont get very far... However I did find a number of very good things.
I found mom's sewing machines. Both her Elna SU which is staying with Adam and the Pfaff 1222 which is coming home with me. :-) I found the pedal.
I also found a huge bag of Lopi a traditional Norwegian wool. The other awesome part of this is that I believe that this is the left over yarn from my mothers Magus Opus of knitting. It is a full length coat (even for me) in black, cream and brown. I have little one memory of her working on this sweater... but I had forgotten that she knew how to knit. When I found the sweater last year I was very excited to be wrapped in this warm wool, even though I hive up because of how scratchy it is. But was met by rusting metal safety pins in the under arms, leave it to my mom not to finish a project. The dress she wore to my brothers wedding had the buttons pinned on.
I also found a pillow front that my mother intended for Peggy... So that I will be able to sew that up too.
