When I was around 29 or 30, there were a lot of things I was hoping to do or accomplish by the time I turned 35. Here are the ones I can remember:
30 year old me: "By the time I'm 35 I will have . . ."
figured out how to put on makeup,
earned a graduate degree,
straightened my teeth,
augmented my breasts,
adopted a puppy,
learned how to make candy,
gotten Tender Glow (me and Alix's band) back together,
etc.
While I haven't done any of these things, and I'm about to turn 35, I have done some other things, such as the following:
started sending out Christmas cards to family and friends,
toned my stomach with a special exercise I discovered,
learned how to use the Instant Pot,
started using sunscreen fairly regularly,
cut down on my weed intake,
held down a job for longer than ever before (currently 3 years and 4 months),
drastically improved my cursive handwriting,
etc.
