Just so you know, what you're feeling is pretty normal for college students and those who have graduated and find that their major maybe wasn't what they wanted to do afterall. Do you know how many people major in a certain field and end up doing something COMPLETELY different because their career path in their major wasn't as grand as they thought it would be? Plenty. It's normal. I mean both my parents majored in math. My dad is a consultant for benefits and my mom is a computer teacher. o.o And my sister had jobs after she graduated that didn't involve graphic design at all.

If fashion still interests you, have you ever thought about finding a designer or a clothes buyer and being an assistant? It may not be directly related to your major, but it starts you somewhere and you may be able to work your way up. At one point I wanted to be a store manager for Suncoast and thought it was what I really wanted to do for my "career". Well, after being management (but not manager) I realized how stressful it was and they expected WAY above and beyond of me, and I was not going to dedicate my entire life to Suncoast. In the end, it worked out, since the former company that owned them went bankrupt and the few stores that are left are owned by FYE now.

Anyway, my job may not be glamorous and I may not make tons of money, but I enjoy my coworkers and boss (even though she drives me nuts sometimes), and I feel content in my work environment. That's what's most important to me. So you have to ask yourself, what is most important to you? Not everyone knows right away and have to go through different jobs and life experiences to figure out what the hell they really want. Just don't feel alone though because there are so many people who feel/have felt the same way you do.

I feel you! I need to find another job too and it feels like such a burden. And the loan payments certainly don't help my already tight budget. :( I want to see you so we can lament together!
