Summary:
Doojoon isn't about to let Yoseob mope of Valentine's Day
~*~*~
“Tell me you are not planning on sitting here and moping all day long.” Doojoon sighed and poked at his friend, but Yoseob just gave him a forlorn look. “Seobie, I thought you were going to break up with her anyways.”
“But not until after Valentine’s Day.”
“So? Before, after, you, her, what does it matter?” he sat down and tugged Yoseob close.
Yoseob only put up a token resistance before curling up against Doojoon’s side. “You’re not supposed to break up with someone right before Valentine’s Day. That’s like.. The worst dating etiquette ever. Now I have to go eat jajangmyeon with Gikwang.” His expression was miserable. “I hate jajangmyeon.”
Doojoon did not laugh at Yoseob… no matter how much he wanted to. He had to hide his smile against Yoseob’s hair, though.
“So don’t eat any.”
“But we promised. If we were both alone and single on Valentine’s Day, we’d go be pathetic together.” Yoseob sighed, his hands fisting in the folds of Doojoon’s jacket. “I really didn’t want to be as pathetic as Kwangie.”
“Well, I don’t know about single, but I know for a fact that Gikwang isn’t alone. He took Dongwoon out to a movie.”
Yoseob gaped for a moment, sputtering a little in his aggravated disbelief. “Tha-That dirty little cheat!”
Everyone knew that Dongwoon was never quite able to say no to his hyungs, no matter how much it was probably better for him if he did.
Doojoon couldn’t help but laugh then and shook his head. “But you’re not exactly alone either, are you?”
“But we’re not doing anything … Valentiny… ish. We’re just sitting here.” Yoseob sighed and flopped his head back against the back of the couch. “I’m more pathetic than Gikwang. My life is over.”
“You’re not pathetic.” Still chuckling, Doojoon stood up and tugged his friend up with him. “And as for ‘Valentiny-ish’ things, I’m sure I can think of something. Come on.”
Though he gave a put upon sigh, Yoseob let himself be dressed up and drug out the door.
And if he was maybe a little suspicious about how Doojoon just happened to have a reservation for two at one of the more romantic, exclusive restaurants in town and no other date waiting besides Yoseob, well…
He enjoyed himself far too much to mention it.
