What you really need is a mother with sewing ability :p. I found this mad post-apocalyptic buckled vest in that goth store in Brisvegas, in a size 300 of course, but luckily I was able to whine for 4 weeks straight until my mother finally made it for me. Woo! (This has a practical consideration, apart from me gloating in my vest-ness, which is, if you can't find your size, take a picture and go to some immigrant woman cheap dress-maker).

it's because 14-16 is now the average. from what i understand, shops now often only get in one size 8. maybe two.
