Something I forgot to mention in my earlier post:

I saw this adorably hilarious movie the other day, and immediately tried to re-cast it. (Shocking, I know.) But then! I realized that hilarious as it would be for Gerard to be this eternal college student with his twenty-two academic degrees, how much more amazing would it be if basically the same thing happened, only with comics?

Gerard is the guy who lives in his mom's house even though he's young for trees or rapidly approaching that age! He has this vast knowledge of comics and whatnot. (I. Okay, so that's basically Real Life Gerard, but whatever.) For some reason, he has to get a real job! There's talk of venturing out into the big, wide world! Mikey makes fun of him a lot!

He gets an interview at some super awesome comic book store, and then things happen, whatever, and he gets the job! And finds out comics are real! Superheroes, sidekicks and supervillains abound! They have prototypes of various Batman weaponry and gadgets! Kryptonite! Um...other things I honestly cannot think of at the moment! Gerard is all asquee at this, and totally loves his job even though he can never tell anyone about what he actually does!

And then! There is a break-in and things of vital importance are stolen, and as all the superheroes are off saving the world/universe elsewhere, the fate of the world is in Gerard's hands! *DRAMA*

And then there are general shenanigans, possibly involving Mikey, Ray, and Bob tagging along, thereby making the whole thing where Gerard was supposed to keep the secret part of his job secret totally pointless. And then they run into this guy, Frank, who was sent to make sure Gerard doesn't die and whatnot on his mission to save the world. I don't know, it makes less sense the more I go on, and yet? AWESOME.

I don't know. Re-casting everyone for the original movie would be awesome as well. Gerard as the Librarian! Frank as Nicole! HILARITY.

Ahaha, Gerard trying out geeky pick-up lines on Frank! Frank being kickass and being charmed by Gerard's earnest faily-ness despite his resolve not to fall in love with the latest Librarian after what happened before. *DRAMA*

comics, don't judge me!, movies, bandom, plotty things, mcr
