(no subject)
Hey there flist! Work's been keeping me pretty busy lately, but today's the first (and probably only) day off until the store opens and who knows what my schedule is going to be like during the holiday craziness, so I'm trying to catch up on things I missed the last week or so and to get my internets fix. \o/
I got a chance to see Iron Man! I don't know the Marvel universe very well, but I liked the movie. Seriously, though. Who do I need to talk to about writing the fic where Pete is Tony Stark, Patrick is Pepper Potts, and uh. Joe or Andy or god, I don't know, someone is Rhodes and then there are hilariously awesome shenanigans in superhero crime fighting and whatnot with the rest of the bandom people as various Marvel superheroes and villains? Bonus Gerard as Nick Fury would be kind of awesome too. :D
(Ahahaha. I only read a few issues when the the series first started, but Panic as the Runaways, maybe? Or possibly just Ryan, I don't know. He doesn't seem like he'd be all that thrilled about his father's role as a villain and would want to ~rebel against him. Spencer could be Gertrude! He has a dinosaur! Also, less death in this version of things as everyone is basically a faily superhero/villain, so you know. Still! Spencer has a dinosaur!)
P.S. A copy of this movie (the last time I actually saw it was when it originally aired on television, so I don't remember the entire plot, but that's not really important) is headed my direction and I may or may not have considered the possibility of Gerard being the adorable loser in love with the ~pretty girl at his work (and/or Frank as the adorable loser and Gerard being the ~pretty girl, I'm not choosy) and then NOT ACTUAL SCIENCE happens and shenanigans happen!
(Clearly, I have been a productive employee at work the last little while and not thinking about fic ideas. Also, hello again flist! I missed you so! I am incredibly amazed and in awe of all you Nano writers out there and am totally cheering you on: ----> \o/ ----> GO TEAM NANOWRIMO!)
I'm sure there are other things I've missed because I have been in a zombie-like state the last week or so. Please feel free to tell me all about your exciting adventures and whatnot! And/or feel free to back away from the severely sleep-deprived crazy, that's cool too. :D
