Hey, so the screen on the laptop is acting up. HP's customer service tells me it's a backlight issue and as I don't know when I'll be able to get it fixed I don't know if/when I'll be around very much. (Right now I have the laptop hooked up to the old desktop monitor and it doesn't really make for the best experience.)
