So full of questions!
The last week has been like a vacation, only without my going anywhere.
But! I've caught up a bit on my shows, and read so, so many wonderful fics that they've managed to blur together, as well as watching actual 'live' television. (Awesome.)
I now remember why I a love/hate relationship with Without a Trace. It's like on one hand I have this fondness for Danny and Martin, and hey, even Viv, but on the other hand? OMG. Like a teen drama gone horribly wrong. With guns and missing people and Timelines thrown in.
I know I've missed a lot since I stopped watching midway through season two, but what's with Martin getting all the dramatic final scenes? I can think of at least three episodes where he gets to look all thoughtful and emo and whatnot. What's up with that? Where's Danny? He's pretty much the only character I have anything resembling intense like for on the show and he's had all of fifteen minutes of screentime in those same three episodes. (AND. Perhaps most importantly, what is Maid Marian doing there?)
Bones continues to be a no-strings attached happy place for me. I've been re-watching the s1 DVDs and the show is still so shiny for me. So clean and simple and it's a show I know I can come back and watch (when I'm not actually eating because seriously, ewww) at any time and get sucked into and not have to worry about anything. I like that in a show once in a while.
In real world news, PIRATES feature heavily in this year's Rose Festival. (Awesome.)
I'm incredibly tempted to peel myself off the couch and go investgate because pirates, you know?
P.S. Why did watching the season finale of CSI:NY make me feel like I was watching a Bruce Willis movie?
