I substitute carrots!

While I don't believe I've gained substantial weight I've been without a scale for a few weeks as well as having an erratic diet. So, that makes me a little nervous with where my weight stands.

I've vowed to be a better person and try and incorporate new vegetables into my diet. Starting with baby carrots. I'm not a huge fan of raw carrots so I once again tickle my cooking fancy and looked up a very tasty recipe for dip. It's not all that bad for you either using light versions of the ingredients. Hopefully this is a habit I can keep up with. I need to start getting back into goos habits. I DO NOT want the weight to come back at any cost. I was so unhappy and I think if I gain it back I probably won't have the willpower to get rid of it again. I quite like my size 10 pants, thank you very much.

Things have been a little rocky at work but I can only assume it's just adjusting to the culture and getting myself ready for new challenges. It's something everyone has to deal with. It's like going away to school for the first time. It's awkward because you are out of your element.

This whole ordeal has been a very stressful transition for both myself and Ken. We're so tired by the end of thr day that we're crashing by 9:30pm which kind of sucks because we'd like to have the energy to play WoW with the CO folks. I miss them bunches too.

We're also still unpacking my stuff from the move. We've uncovered the dining room table so at least we can eat dinner again (that is, not in the living room).

We're geting there. It's just taking us a bit and it's very exhausting.
