The nerve!
So today was an okay day. I ended up going to Tigercon ((local anime convention held at Towson University)) and helping to pass out flyers for our local rave , oh, excuse me, dance party event.
((Apparently, raves are illegal in Baltimore. They've been tagged as being full of drugs. While that isn't always true, it's not unheard of. I've been offered drugs before. -_-))
But anyway, I'm there with friends and we're on our way when we pass another group of people that I only sort of know. One girl was like hey, I like your hello kitty hat. You should give it to me. Me, thinking she was just joking around, didn't think much of telling her no and carrying on. She, on the other hand, took it off my head, and proceeded to leave. Of course, me and another guy went after her and I got my hat back.
I'm still really upset by this because, really, you were just going to take my hat like that? I realise now that, perhaps she wasn't joking. Perhaps she was really serious about stealing my hat from me and just hid it behind a smile and jokes. Part of me really wants to tell my boyfriend; partly to get it off my chest. Part of me doesn't really want to because I don't want to sound like I'm starting trouble against anyone. I'm really not. I just...don't appreciate that. Like I said, I don't really know the girl like that. We aren't friends. I don't text her in the middle of the night; I don't ask her advice for anything. She's just another face. I'm also certain that if my boyfriend had been there, she wouldn't have even said anything to me, much less approached me like that. I feel now that I have to be mean to people; just so they know I'm not a pushover. Next time she puts hands on me, I'm punching that bitch in the kidneys and I don't care who's around. And if I get my ass whipped, that's fine. I went down for something that I believe in.
