Throwing clips at a timeline, yo.
You know, the part I find most intimidating/annoying/the largest barrier to sitting down and trying my hand at vidding is the actual clipping? Like, VDubMod and I get along not at all, and I find scanning through to find things in it really really offputting. Not to mention whatever conflict/error on my compy's part that makes "COM Surrogate has stopped working" pop up over me whenever I try to save a clip. (Yes, close it, I don't even know what it *is* make it go away!)
Well, also I don't have the slightest clue how to use Premiere, I'm just sorta muddling through. That said I put like 4 tiny clips in one spot on my timeline and I think it *works* and I'm all glowing and going "I did that. See? Innit cool?" for all of 4 seconds of footage, heh. I dunno if I even want to share it if I get it done cause I'm all nervous and think maybe it's jut me thinking it's in beat when it's not and... whatever! I clicked and made things happen, this is progress!
