Rome was mind-blowing. I learned so much about history and since our hotel was smack-bang in the centre, we could walk under a mile in any direction and be met with amazing sights such as the Emmanuel Monument (or wedding cake building, as the RAF nicknamed it), the Pantheon or the Trevi Fountain.
