Not many of you know that my hubby has been a force on the www since it was a program called Mosaic written by the guy he sat next to at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, but he is also a brilliant writer when he has the drive and time to do it. Here's his latest epic Metafilter post, an incredible story of Obama's desk and the HMS Resolute:
