(no subject)
So I'm back in (sporadic) internet contact, after spending the weekend staying with friends. I had a great time, mostly just hanging out and playing board games, and seeing people who I haven't seen for over a year. So a pretty full-on few days (for me, at least!), but a lot of fun.
All sorts of things happened on the internet while I was away. I totally missed the westerosorting friending meme, Brienne was cast, and the Tourney of the Hand results came out! House Stark were, as always, awesome, and I managed to get third place for my limerick, and first for the caption contest. Yay! It was an absolutely huge weekend this time, so I wasn't sure I'd place in anything - we have so many talented people!
And now I'm spending the next couple of weeks staying at Mum's place, which is always nice (and has heating and real food!). My sister's here for the next few days, so I'll get to spend some more time hanging out with her, and Mum will be home in the evenings, so I'll be seeing the photos from their latest trip overseas (Spain, France, UK) and watching Downton Abbey for the next few days.
Except for tomorrow, where nothing will tear me away from ADWD. Can't wait!
