Morbid and Creepifying!

So I'm loving life at the moment.
I got to watch my cousin Virginia perform in her Winterguard at Dorton Arena for the AIA championships! I stayed to see Broughton, First Flight, and Assembly Line perform too of course. Watching them perform made me miss it sooooooooo much! I got to see Jody and Jeff again and I was so excited that I shot off an e-mail to Jody and I will be trying out for Assembly Line Winterguard this fall! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
Of course when I suggested it to my mother she was like. NO. But she's said that for the past four years when I mentioned going out for a winterguard and I'm tired of it. I love Winterguard and I have missed it every second since I graduated HighSchool. I know that if I pass up this last opportunity and never get to be in Winterguard again I will regret it for the rest of my life. So fuck her, I'm going out for winterguard this year.

I just purchased my own rifle and practice flag online and since I already have my sabre I'm set to get back in guard shape. I will be super ready for the First Flight spin clinic and then tryouts and whatnot with Assembly Line in fall. Time to get off my ass and start going to the SRC's pilates classes...like I said I would oh 3 months ago?

What winterguard equiptment are you?
SabreYou are a sabre... You are the one who gets the most odd looks, but thats okay - you know what a sabre is for! You are the last in the natural progression and the "most advanced" guard equiptment. Skill and grace are combined into strong beautiful work. Tosses and spins can be tricky and dangerous, but you laugh in the face of danger...
