Okay, not to bash on a 'classic', but Willy Wonka the original movie freaks me out and the stills from the new Tim Burton remake seem as though this one will be even creepier. In fact, I would go so far to say that Roald Dahl's work in general touches on creepy, as does Burton's, so the fusion of the two is likely to give me nightmares. Johnny Depp or no, I think this is one film I'm not going to see.
