For the week after a couple gets married, people set up special parties for them, because as my mom so eloquently put it, "Marriage is just too big a thing to be over in one night." So tonight, we had a party for our chiropractor (who's become something of a family friend) and his new wife. I am now suffering from acute Cooking Jewish Mother Syndrome.
Too. Much. Food.
And...guess who came? :)
Let me just say that after the part, watching the Tony Awards with some who understands?? AWESOME.
Dad was taking pictures anyway, as it was a party n' all...I look exhausted (I was/am), and it was a quick one, but it'll tide y'all (read:
deesarrachi) over 'till I get a better one.
Okay, I've got you under the cut, so I might as well spam a bit more...
My art corner at school. Yes, there are three RENT pieces. Yes, the angle is awful.
More of "my corner." Left to right: Beggar Woman (Sweeney Todd), Emcee (Cabaret), Dutchy (GUESS!!), Mark (Rent), Don Knotts/Mark David.
I'm actually quite proud of the Emcee, but he didn't come out in any of the photos. Dutchy's a lens-hog.
Boychiks!!
They're just too adorable to leave out of a picspam...
After a hard day's work.
Okay, getting Lev into musicals? So cool. He's reminding me of all sorts of shows I haven't heard in a while.
ETA: Okay, mom coming over and whispering in my ear that Lev is a sweetheart? Good.
