So... a lot has happened in the last 2+ months. I turned eighteen, broke up with Sapir, started a job, somehow started a household with Yuval (I cook), got placed in the IDF, decided to put on another OTS production, started working on a demo CD with Schwartzman that is probably going to be sent to producers in New York, and probably several other things that I neglected to mention.
I haven't read here in two months, and I'm not really planning to catch up now, so if I've missed something important, lemme know here.
I've just experienced the most amazing feeling in the world.
The feel of my favorite button-down flannel gently touching my skin as the wind wildly runs through my hair. The sun touches my face; A perfect, sunny-windy day.
The bass of a cheerful song pounds in my ears as I doge passersby, swinging plastic bags of groceries, his comfy sweater over my collared shirt.
My sneakers seem to bounce off the pavement of their own accord and hit the pavement to the intoxicating pulse of the beat; You can't help but smile to yourself, that kind of smile that makes those on the street wonder what's making you so happy. It's so simple. The air is filled with that somewhat happy-suspenseful scent of a Friday morning. The thrill of the city is rising from the tips of my toes to the top of my head.
Utter pleasure as I head down the street.
For lunch, kickass onion soup.
For supper, stir-fry and my awesome ravioli.
I really like doing this.
And yes, I sing out as I cook. :)
