24/8/11 (Th) I'm going to start an informal list of fav albums, to eventually culminate in an official list.

-The Woods
Morrissey
-Bona Drag (compilation)
-You Are the Quarry
Neil Young (and Crazy Horse)
-Harvest
-Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
-After the Gold Rush
-Rust Never Sleeps (live album, 1979)
The Beatles
-Rubber Soul
-Let It Be
-Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

The Strokes
-Is This It?
Sun Ra (and his Arkestra)
-Languidity
Miles Davis
-Sketches of Spain
Manic Street Preachers
-This Is My Truth Now Tell Me Yours
I'm sure there are more; these arn't always the most played (though many are) but definitely the most influential and the "best" in terms of quality. However, admittedly, the quality of some is debatable (re: Bark, by Jefferson Airplane).
There are 15 bands and 33 albums + 2 compilations.
Maybe a review of them? Of the 15 bands, only 3 are represented by one album. That means 12 bands contributed 30 albums and 2 compilations. I should organize this and work on this later...for now...I don't know...
