3 entries...in one day?!

I'm pretty sure we're all sick of me at this point today, I know I am. I really should be fast asleep, but as I had my late night class in Stockton, I'm just at home and decompressing. Also, I don't really have to be up as early tomorrow morning. Anyways...

Here are some lyrics that are on my mind --you know, in addition to all the other songs and lyrics I mentioned in those 2 earlier entries (parts in bold deserve special attention):

I’m tired of waiting on a ship that won’t leave shore
I’m tired of waiting on a ship that won’t leave shore
The water’s bloody with the one who came before
The water’s bloody with the one who came before
Hey she made you say it, yeah they’ll make you say it
Hey you know you said it a lot
Hey you never stayed for, now you’ve gotta pray for
Something better than what you’ve got

I’m tired of waiting on a plane that don’t have wings
I’m tired of waiting on a plane that don’t have wings
The runway’s rotten with the dirt and weeds
The runway’s rotten with the dirt and weeds
Hey he made me say it, yeah they’ll make you say it
Hey you know you’ve said it outloud
Hey you never stayed for, now you gotta pray for
Something better than what you’ve got

I booked my ticket
Packed my bag
My flight is leaving
And our time has passed
I’m tired of knocking on a door that just won’t budge
Locked out of the engine I'm just a wheel that you have spun

But who’s to say I don’t have wings?
But who’s to say I don’t have wings?

That song leads up to "Let's Call It Love" which is, basically, an 11 minute opus devoted to rocking loud and hard and sex. It really fucks your ears, and gets me hard in the pants (I imagine for girls it might get them wet?). It drips with such raw, sexual, aggressive energy, in the best of ways.

Anyways, I'll end now, because I really could find a way to sit and type and reflect until well after midnight, but I just don't have that luxury anymore...thank god!
