adventures in procrastination
I'm almost done half-assing an assignment that was due on Friday. 0_o.
I'm still a bit behind, particularly in the Russian field of my studies. My god, the next 3 weeks are going to be confused with writing about Russian, doing Russian, and reading about Russian. PHEW! As much as I love all things Slavic, I'm glad I didn't pursue the Russian Studies major. If next month my history reading consists of French, German, or Spanish history, or even Balkan Slav history, it should be fairly understandable why I've shifted away from mother Russia. Sometimes, a boy needs an Arabic problem on morphology to remind himself why he's not a cunning linguist but is a cunnilingust. Oh my, bad jokes!
As I write this, and time continues to pass, I realise that I'm soon to not be a teenager. Bloody hell! Another decade, done. That reminds me, I read about the "new hollywood" on wikipedia, and was enthralled by that damned wesbite for so long, I ended up spending roughly 2 hours today on wikipedia, avoiding that morphology problem. Because we discuss the homework in class, and I was there friday taking notes, the problem was much easier to do. The last part, which I am currently avoiding, is basically proposing a syntactic skeleton of the language. Great. Syntax. I swear, I feel burnt out on school at the current moment.
I do not, however, feel burnt out on life. I just feel a bit lazy.
I don't know what to say. I'm aging. I'm avoiding work. I'm going to end this entry. G'night.
