It has begun.........
Well things are falling into place for this reception. Now if only the lady from RenFaire would call me back to get the specifics of the banquet I could stop pulling my hair out. I'm giving her til tomorrow to call me back.
We've got the huge tent ordered for the campgrounds. We're getting a 20x30 tent with drop panels for the campsite. (Michael even got the ones with the windows in them for help with lighting). He ordered some oil lanterns and battery operated paper lanterns to hang from the ceiling for light at night. Plus we have pilar candles and bowls with floating candles for all the tables. And we're bringing our kewl votive candle chandlier to hang. Should be very romantic.
Looks like we'll be heading up to Dallas over Labor Day so Michael can finish the mock up of the ship deck. He wants to put that up in front of the 20x30 tent so you have to walk over the ship to get into the party tent. Kinda kewl! Plus he got real Starboard and Port lanterns for it. It'll be so neat.
Lets see, we also cleaned out GardenRidge of their tiki torches *L* We'll be placing them all over our campsite. We had several in our collections, but Michael has a habit of running them over when trying to back the cars into the campsite. *LOL*
