just some slightly-friendly explainin' here; when people say a character is Out of character, it's not something people say when they're homophobic...i've decreed before that characters are out of character and i'm a slash freak. it means when a character does something they'd never do in the series. like, say, Stan killing himself for no reason whatsoever. that's out of character.
