Tell the story of one of your past scars.

Fourth grade swim class. It was mid June I think. I don't remember the exact date. But it was a hot day that day. And I still had this big plaster on on my birthday. Which is June 30th. So it was mid or late June. Something around that.
Anyway. Back to swim class. Mr. Baker, the teacher, gave us 15 minutes of free time before class started that day. He sometimes did that. Though that day might have been the last time. At least he said something like that. Free time meant we could play around in the shallower half of the pool. As long as we behaved.
Mr. Baker didn't say we couldn't jump in. And there was a place deep enough. Even in the shallower half. So we did. We'd spend the 15 minutes free time jumping in before so we weren't even misbehaving or something.
Somehow we got into a competition of who'd jump in the craziest way. Some of the guys did things like pretending to try to walk on the water or pretending to jump in head first and going feet first anyway. We all had a good laugh. It was fun.
When it was my turn again, I tried to jump in backwards and tried to do it a crazy way. Well I did. And everyone laughed. At first.
I somehow hid my chin on the sidewall of the pool. At first it felt it was just going to be a bump, until I touched my chin and there was all the blood on my hand. And then it began to sting like hell. From the chlorine I guess.
I was rushed to the hospital and got five stitches and a ridiculously big plaster.
And mum and dad came by all worried and asked what I was thinking jumping in like that.
It was quite cool, actually. Once the stinging pain was gone. And I got a small scar left under my chin.
