But putting a politician with no military experience... in control of an entire nation's military force... ... who doesn't have a military background, let alone military discipline... right as she's in the third trimester... DURING A WAR in the middle east... it's not the smartest move.
If this woman was a 2 star general, she'd be able to tackle the job while JUGGLING QUINTS blindfolded. And if this woman takes the full SIXTEEN WEEKS that State Benifits entitle to her... THAT would be awkward.
If you're going to be a defense minister DURING A WAR... please wait to have your baby until NEXT YEAR or the year after... or have it before the war starts, or before you accept this position... or make sure you have your Lieutenant Defense Minister standing besides you, so they're briefed and ready to take over, when you take off...
It's not fair to the BABY for her to go back to work, because I'm pretty darn sure being a DEFENSE MINISTER isn't a job that has part time hours... an entire country's military requires the full-time attention of the defense minister... and she's now forced to split her attention between them and the new baby... Sure, maybe she can do a great job, but then the baby doesn't get the full attention of its mother. Either way, SOMEONE loses out here.
It wasn't good timing on her part... it seems like Spain's leader chose her BECAUSE she's pregnant... to send a message... but that was foolish on his part. Then again, it's not my concern because I'm not a Spaniard.
