Point 1: Gaijin Wives Date
On Monday I met up with 3 other girls married to Japanese guys (who are all under 25+1). We all met through blogging, but they've all known eachother for a while before. It was so great to meet them at last! They were all so easy to talk to, interesting, easy to relate with, and most importantly had a good sence of humour as well! We met up in Ueno, sat and talked in the park, and then went to eat REAL food at the Hard Rock Cafe (with more chatting of course).
It felt so good to be around English speaking people haha. We talked about Japan, about our weird husbands, and about babies and such mostly. Two of the girls were Aussies and one was from the States so we kind of broke into pairs, because although we all speak English there were moments of confusion and cultural misses lol.
EDIT: example #1 that had me laughing! In Australia: "Jubes" In Canada "JuJubes" in America "JuJubies" haha... every country adds a syllable apparently XD

Benay and Laura; the Aussies. Laura is the only other one in Tokyo (the other two are from way out in the rice paddies) so I'm looking forward to meeting up with her for coffee once in a while.

Point 2: Ahhh~~~ Humour.
I just found out that they play re-runs of "Friends" every morning at 11:30!! It's so nice to watch; gives me something to look forward to. Not that I haven't seen every episode a million times... but they are so classic and... I miss things that are FUNNY!
Point 3: Ponyo
Our baby. This is a face shot..you can see two black circles for the eyes... and on the left side of her head is a long white thing (that's her arm pressed against her head)..it funny because that's the position I came out in, according to my mom. I though that was interesting~~
Point 4: I hate hair
I'm really hating my hair these days... there is no way I can leave it "free." It's either straighten or curl everyday... I'm kind of worried about how this will go after Ponyo is born. I'm not looking forward to post-natal hairloss either... my hair is already so thin and sparce.. I wish I could get another straight perm, like back in the old days, so it could be easy to deal with... but it's not a possiblity anymore with me bleaching the life out of my hair. And I really like my hair blond now!
See how gross it is if I leave it "free" ???? It's not curly nor straight...just POOF. If I add mouse or gel to it it just looks greasy and gross.
Much better after... even though it only takes about 15 minutes to do, I get irritated and it's so hot to curl in the summer it makes me sweat =/
