In the Land of Gallifrey requested a sunset tutorial using Madd Style Cosmetics. We have been having a lot of wild fires in the Salt Lake valley this summer, so I chose to do a brighter, much more orange look.
What you need:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- Orange base- I used Maybelline's 24hr Color Tattoo in Fierce and Tangy. You could use an NYX jumbo pencil or any other base that is orange.
- MSC Ichabod
- MSC King Moonracer
- MSC Rambozo
- MSC Bitchslap
- MSC Lust
- MSC Peep Show
- MSC Sparkle Motion
- Black eyeliner
- Black Mascara
Start off by applying your primer all over your eyelid and let it sit; apply your orange base on your eyelid to just above your crease-or however high you choose to take your colored shadows. You want to blend it out a little bit, but it doesn't have to be perfect since you'll be blending your pigments out from it, anyway.
Apply Ichabod to the inner 1/3 of your lid, stopping at the crease. and blending inward and upward.
Apply King Moonracer over the center of your eyelid, make sure that the glitter and shimmer is super saturated on the spherical point of your eyelid (where your eyeball protrudes most).
Apply Rambozo to the outer third of your eyelid, and bring it slightly across the crease. Keep a cleaner line on the outer portion of your lid, but blend inwards and upwards.
Use Bitchslap on your lower lid, bringing it all the way up to your upper lid and cut your crease. You will be going over your orange base, but MSC has great color payoff, so it will still be a nice, secondary purple.
Apply Lust above Bitchslap on your upper lid only, about 2/3 of the outer portion, and blend SLIGHTLY upwards and out on each side.
Use Peepshow to finish "topping off" Bitchslap, and to cover the rest of your orange base. The lighter Lust, and King Oberon in the center, with darker, deeper shades around it, will give you a beautiful, big blue/brown/green eyed look. This technique is great for any eyeshape. (my camera was having issues with capturing how bright these colors are! It kept trying to "color correct" lol)
Apply Sparkle Motion to your inner corners, and in to the arch of your eyebrows.
Apply your eyeliner right in to your lash line, your upper waterline, and finish with mascara.
