Does anyone remember this tutorial?  I was going to make a sort of "quick-n-easy" SFX tips before I fell of the face of the internetz for a little while... my friend Jalackie reminded me how much I LOVE using mineral pigments for SFX.  My latex and chemical (and some natural) colorant allergies hinder me from doing SFX on myself on a regular basis...
ANYWAY, I recently did a text-wall walk-through of how to do cheap zombie makeup for Jackie (find her here at MMC Designs, ) using white school glue, various paper, and mineral pigments.  She skipped the glue and paper ( how was I supposed to know her little guy was about to be responsible for a familial, viral outbreak? )

She did a great job using just the MSC pigments she had, he looked super realistic, despite the epic cuteness, however I did promise her a tutorial on the textural end of the spectrum... SOOO while I am on a roll:
