Changmin's voice boomed though the room.
Jaejoong felt the weight of Heechul being ripped off of him, and dimly saw Changmin sending Junsu crashing to the floor. He sank to the floor, his body shaking with sobs as he pulled his knees to his chest and tried to calm his own paralyzing fear. As another chocked back sob was about to come out, he felt warm arms encircling his form, and heard Changmin’s soothing voice close to his ear, “It’s okay now, Jaejoong. Don't cry.”
He was too scared and shaken to push Changmin away. Too hurt to not welcome the bit of comfort that was being offered, gently letting a familiar darkness take over, not knowing the further pain that was planned for him by these three men.
--------
Jaejoong awoke to the feeling of warm blankets surrounding his body. It almost seemed as if everything that had happened the night before was just a bad dream. However, when he glanced to the left side his bed, he saw Changmin sitting in a chair, his head tilted forward, and his eyes closed in sleep. He could have almost pasted as friendly with the way his face looked so peaceful.
“I guess he’s not so bad when he’s sleeping.” Jaejoong muttered, peering at him for a long moment. It was almost too hard to believe that Changmin had saved his last night. The very fact that he hadn’t helped Heechul and Junsu alone was a miracle unto itself. he decided firmly, refusing to walk into his trap with eyes wide open. “He’s planning something,” he decided, extending his foot to kick Changmin in the leg, “Hey. Wake up.”
Changmin awoke with a jerk, his eyes dazed as he glanced about the room in a confused manner.
“Over here, sleeping beauty.” Jaejoong called lightly, snapping his fingers, drawing Changmin’s attention towards his.
“Oh, you woke up.” Changmin stated, still in a light voice before letting out a huge yawn, his arms stretching over his head.
Jaejoong watched his god-like body flex slowly. If he didn't have a deep loathing for him…he might have been someone to admire. But what was good was only on the outside, if only he didn't have a personality that would make the devil cry in fear.
“Uh, is there anything you need?” Changmin asked, a slightly awkward look plastered on his face. Heechul had told him not to act as if he was already in love. If he did that he was sure Jaejoong would catch on within minutes. No, for this to work, he was going to have to take it nice and slow.
“Not from you.” Jaejoong muttered coldly, turning his gaze away from Changmin. “Where's Yunho?”
“Yunho?” Changmin asked in a wannabe casual tone, “Why Yunho?”
“Because he’s the only person in this house who supports me. He’s my only friend and ally. So, just go away and don’t come back. I have no desire to see the despicable face of you or your demon friends.” he replied crisply, refusing to look into Changmin’s eyes.
“You don’t know Yunho as well as you think you do.” Changmin stated as he leaned forward in his chair, his gaze pinned on Jaejoong. “Would you like to know something about him?”
“No. I don’t care what you have to say about Yunho. It's probably all lies anyway.”
“Fine then, go on being deceived by him.”
“Would you just shut up? Every time you open that stupid, gaping hole on your face, it makes me anger.” Jaejoong snapped, stopping him from saying anything more to his. “I don’t understand why you’re so mean, but stop trying to convince me that Yunho is like you. He’s ten times the man you want to be and will never be.” Just being in the same room with Chagmin made him want to rip his own hair out and then do the same to Changmin.
“Sorry.” Changmin said, his voice showing none of the revulsion he felt when saying these words to his.
Jaejoong turned a shocked face towards Changmin, “Did you just sincerely apologize to me?” he questioned in an incredulous voice.
“Yes, I said I was sorry for being cruel towards Yunho. And I’m also sorry for the way I’ve been treating you these past few days.” All lies, of course, but Jaejoong didn't know that.
“The world must be coming to an end.” Jaejoong breathed, looking at Changmin with a face full of amazement and disbelief. “Yunho! Come quick, I think Changmin’s been possessed by an angel!” Jaejoong called, pushing himself out of bed and running to the door, only to bump into Yunho, who had been running when he heard his name.
Yunho laughed, seeing the confused Master and his frantic friend in the same scene. Chuckling, “What are you talking about, Jaejoong?”
“He just apologized to me.” Jaejoong muttered, pointing his thumb back towards Changmin.
“It’s not that odd, many people do it.” Yunho teased lightly, enjoying the look of shock on Jaejoong’s face.
“Yes, but he isn’t one of those many people.”
“I actually am.” Changmin cut in, offering his a small smile.
“Oh my god, Yunho! He just smiled at me. He really is possessed.” Jaejoong said, shocked, and dashed behind Yunho, peeking over his shoulder at Changmin’s figure. “Is he…laughing?” Jaejoong breathed, standing on tip-toe to see over Yunho’s shoulder.
“I’m sorry, it’s just funny to see you this way. I had never thought a bit of normality from me would shock you so much.” Changmin stated as he turned and offered his an amused smile. “For the moment, I have to go to the studio to record. You should get some rest, you had a rough night.”
With that, he turned and left the room, congratulating himself on being such a good actor. “You can’t call that normal.” Jaejoong stated, as soon as Changmin left, flopping down on the bed, patting the spot next to his for Yunho to sit.
“He smiles and laughs quite often Jaejoong, Well, just not at you.” Yunho intoned lightly as he plopped down on the bed beside his, his dark eyes running over his face and down his neck. “Are you alright Jaejoong?” He questioned softly, a look of concern washing over his face.
Jaejoong sobered when Yunho began talking again, a blush creeping up his cheeks as his mind replayed the events of the night before in his head over and over again. “Of course I’m fine. W-why wouldn’t I be…” Jaejoong trailed off, feeling tears stinging his eyes. he didn’t want to cry in front of Yunho again. He was going to think he was a big cry baby.
“Jaejoong.” Yunho sighed as he wrapped his arm around his small shoulders, pulling his towards himself. “You don’t have to be brave in front of me. I’m not going to judge you for it.”
Tears streamed down Jaejoong’s face, the hurt and anger bursting through his hardly contained walls. Every time he closed his eyes he could see Heechul’s face leering before his, or hears Junsu’s predatory purr in his ear. He felt sick just thinking about it. “Last night. When Heechul had me pinned to the bed...it reminded me of what had happened to me before I came here. The only fucking thing I can remember.” Jaejoong took a deep breath, trying not to start sobbing uncontrollably. “It makes me feel so digusting.”
“You’re still holding back, Jaejoong.” Yunho whispered softly, placing a gentle kiss on Jaejoong’s head. “If you don't want to talk about it, you don't have to. Just remember I'm here.”
Why did he have to be so kind? It made Jaejoong feel as if he could forget his preconceptions and misgivings about people and just trust someone. Just as he finished talking, he felt a new wave of pain wash over his, bringing with it a fresh round of tears. This time, Jaejoong didn’t hold back. He buried his face in Yunho’s shoulder, sobbing out his anger and hurt on the shoulder of someone he trusted.

“So I take it that it’s working?” Junsu asked as he sat getting his make-up done for an appearance on Come to Play.
“It better be after the beating we got from you.” Heechul added, rubbing his shoulder.
“It seems to be, although it’s hard to tell if he believes me or not.” Changmin sighed as he stood up, looking over his script the show's producer had given him.
“Why don’t you just stop while you still can?” Yoochun asked softly, eyeing Changmin with something near disgust in his eyes.
“Because I’m not going to stop until I’ve crushed him into dust. I’ll do practically anything to see him suffer.” Changmin snapped in an icy voice, his eyes coming up to meets Yoochun’s. “If you’re planning on ruining this, then I suggest you rethink. You of all people know how powerful in the Korean community I am. If you’re not careful, I can eliminate you without anyone noticing.”
“I have no intention of getting in the way.” Yoochun affirmed quickly, turning his eyes away from Changmin. It was the truth. He didn’t have enough guts to stick-up for what he believed was right. He was trampled by the more dominating members of the group. He was nothing but a toy for them to play with, and he knew all this perfectly.
“We're on in ten, Yoochun.” Changmin called over his shoulder, his body tensed with anger. There was no way he was going to let Yoochun get in the way of his revenge on Kim Jaejoong.
Nobody…not even his beloved Yunho.
------------------
“You said you wanted to see me?” Jaejoong snapped as he strolled into the kitchen, arms crossed in a moody fashion.
“I just wanted to make sure you had something to eat.” Changmin stated easily, pushing a bowl of soup towards his.
“I don’t want your cooking. You probably put laxatives in it or something.”
“How can you say that if you haven’t even tried it?” Changmin questioned, taking a sip from it to prove to Jaejoong he hadn't poisoned it.
“Fine,” Jaejoong grumbled, his stomach twisted in hunger, “but don’t expect me to praise your cooking.” he stated, taking a seat with a stormy look on his face.
“Here you go.” He said, holding up a spoonful for his to take a bight.
“I’d shoot myself before I let you feed me.” he stated with a straight face, his hand coming out to take the spoon from him.
“I understand that you’re angry about how I treated you when you first got here. But I really am sorry for it; I really want to get to know you better, Jaejoong.” Changmin tried, wishing that he wasn’t being so stubborn.
“No, Changmin, you don’t understand how I feel. You wouldn’t understand until you’ve been put through what I’ve been through at your hands.” Jaejoong snapped, anger flaring up inside of his.
“I’m really sorry, Jaejoong! What do you want me to do to prove myself?” Changmin pleaded, feeling disgusted with himself for having to act like this.
“Hmm, you could start by cleaning your floor with a toothbrush, and then clean if again after I come and throw honey all over you and the floor you just cleaned. Then you can clean all the windows even though you feel like your legs are going to snap in two…and don’t forget about having your friends attack you!” Jaejoong shot back, really getting angry. What right did Changmin have to act like he understood his, and then expect his to forgive him like nothing had ever happened.
“Okay, okay, I understand that you won’t be able to forgive me yet. So just eat your soup.” Changmin said in a pacifying voice, trying to calm Jaejoong down while trying to keep himself from blowing up at his.
Jaejoong picked up the spoon, took a bite of the soup, “You’re cooking sucks, you should take some lessons from Yunho.” he muttered in a cold voice as he strolled from the kitchen.
“You should be careful about how you talk to him. I’m sure his patience will only last so long.” Yunho whispered, as he pulled up next to his, having been silently observing from the doorway.
Jaejoong jumped slightly at the sound of Yunho’s voice, his head snapping around to look at him, “Yunho, were you listening?” Jaejoong giggled as he ran up and hooked his arm around his.
“I was worried about what he was going to do to you, so I decided to follow you in case you needed my help.”Yunho whispered in a conspiring sort of voice.
“Aw, it’s so cute having you as my bodyguard.” Jaejoong laughed, patting his arm.
“So was his cooking really that bad?”
“No, but it wasn’t like I was going to tell him that.”
They both fell silent, walking along the large house in an easy manner. However, Yunho noticed almost immediately that something was wrong with Jaejoong. “What is it that you want to say to me?”
“How in the world do you always know when I’ve got something on my mind?” Jaejoong questioned, a look of shock on his face.
“Well, even though I haven’t known you that long, I can tell when you’re holding something back. You tend to be kind of quiet and contemplative.”
“Oh whatever.” Jaejoong laughed slightly before glancing up at Yunho, his lips drawn into a straight line.
“Yunho, Changmin said something about me not knowing you as well as I thought. Is there something you’re not telling me?” he questioned in an almost timid voice, not wanting to touch a sore spot.
“There are a lot of things I haven't told you.” He answered vaguely as if this would set Jaejoong at ease. “Some are less imortant than others.”
“So you’re saying there are things…?”
“Hyung.” Changmin’s cold voice rang out across the large hall. The sound of his footsteps towards Jaejoong echoing against the walls. “Didn't Mother say never to beat aroud the bush when it comes to important matters?”
Jaejoong’s face went pale and he quickly extracted himself from Yunho’s grip, “Hyung? Mom?” Jaejoong's eyes pleaded with Yunho's to say no, “Are you two brothers?”
Yunho took a slow breath, a look of pain shooting across his face, “Yes.” He muttered softly, but his words sounded magnified in the empty space. Jaejoong breathed in, a choking feeling coming over him. He couldn’t believe Yunho could be related to someone so evil. Not his Yunho. Not the Yunho that held his when he needed to cry, or made his happy when he was down. He couldn't be related to Changmin. Yunho hugged Jaejoong from the behind,“I'm sorry I didn't tell you. But after seeing what had happened to you, I wanted to help. But, if I had said I was even remotely related to Changmin I knew you wouldn't trust me.”
Jaejoong didn't move. Regardless of what was going though his mind, he felt at ease in Yunho's arms, “So you didn't come from Japan when you were twenty? You aren't just Yunho, the sweet, young, playful head butler? This whole thing is just a one big lie?”
“I'm sorry.” Yunho repeated like a parrot, taking a calming breath before he countinued. “Changmin's my younger half-brother. Our Mom married his Father after my own Father died. He took good care of all of us, even after he had his own child with my mother. But when our Mom died...” With those words, Yunho trailed off, a pained look in his eye as he stared at Changmin's eyes as they danced with rage, “our Father didn't take her death well. The buiness went bankrupt, so I ended up cleaning the house, and firing maids and butlers to help save money. Changmin and I didn't talk much, and we ended up nto talking at all. Even when it got bad, I needed to watch over him for my peace of mind and for my mother's sake.”
Changmin watched the situation play out. But he didn't feel the usual happiness he felt when he saw Jaejoong suffer. No, this time an unusual feeling came over him. He felt guilty for ruining his brother's relationship with Jaejoong. He felt disgusted with himself for destroying the one thing that made, not only his brother, but Jaejoong, happy. No, he thought to himself, think of what happiness he's taken away from me. Hyung should be disgusted at his own actions.
“I just need some breathing space, Yunho.” Jaejoong chocked out, head pulsating “I know your a good person, this is just a lot for me to handle.”
Yunho, head hung. “I understand.”
--------
Jaejoong's head was pounding as he walked into his room. How had things ended up like this? Was fate really so cruel that it would throw him into this kind of circumstance? It actually wasn’t that hard to believe. It wasn’t like fate had ever been kind to Kim Jaejoong before…why should it start now? Jung Yunho, his Yunho, and Shim Changmin...brothers. With his head about to burst with emotions, Jaejoong closed his eyes and hoped he'd wake up from this horrid dream.
-----------
Changmin laid on the ground, grunting and muttering curses to himself. “What was that? Does the rich boy want to give up?” his opponent taunted. “I guess this isn’t so pathetic for you, considering that your friends over there are twice your age. Maybe you should get friends your own age, yes?”
Changmin grinded his teeth. “Shut up, you asshole.”
Jaejoong smiled. “Are you angry because you didn’t get what you wanted, Little Master?”
“Tch.” the younger spat out, viciously as his phone rang inches from him.
Jaejoong walked over and picked it up, smirking at Changmin along the way and as he picked up the phone, “Hellooo~?” he sung into the phone.
Over the phone, Changmin could hear a weak, sickly woman's voice. His mother's. “Changmin ah? P-Please come h-home, m-mommy can't breath, she needs her Changminnie here.”
A staccato of coughs followed her plea of help, followed by the sound of a the phone dropping to the floor. Jaejoong subsequently dropped Changmin's, smiling with a look of power on his face, “You should probably get going. She doesn't sound too well.” But the brown haired boy was already at work, hearing his mother's fading voice, Changmin shot up, ignoring the pain that had originally brung him to his knees. The dongseng tried to run past his tormenter, but was halted with a punch to the stomach by a smirking Jaejoong, “Oh? I said “you should probably get going”, I never said I'd let you go.”
------------
“It's him,” Jaejoong said in a shaky voice, “...from my third year of highschool, Shim Changmin.”
How in the world had he landed in a group of people with such twisted paths? People always said opposites attract but Jaejoong was beginning to believe that people of the same color always grouped together...which would explain why he’d ended up with them, even after all this time.
A/N: I think I crammed too much into one chapter and overdramatized the “brothers” thing. XD But my original idea was to make Yunho a murderer, but I couldn't do that to leader-sshi. <33 Come to think of it, didn't I make just make Jaejoong an indirect murderer? >3<;;
