I'm staying in Chicago in an old hotel that has excluded the 13th floor, and staying in a room on the 14th floor, which is actually the 13th. on the way up to my floor earlier I was in the teeny elevator with two Brits who were discussing the many ways to call Bingo numbers. "two fat ladies" "a pair of ducks" and "legs" for eleven. it was fun.

just in case you don't find an apartment on this trip, i would like the cordially invite you to the july 27 - 31 road trip to chicago. there's room in the car for you and your stuuuff. we're sleeping at arj's (empty) apartment and eating in since everyone is pretty broke.

thanks, but I actually have an allergist appointment and I'm volunteering at the Warped Tour for Make Trade Fair during that time. and we found a place, it's realll cute. : )
