I'm staying in Chicago in an old hotel that has excluded the 13th floor, and staying in a room on the 14th floor, which is actually the 13th. on the way up to my floor earlier I was in the teeny elevator with two Brits who were discussing the many ways to call Bingo numbers. "two fat ladies" "a pair of ducks" and "legs" for eleven. it was fun. tomorrow is orientation, and after that will be apartment searching with Bob. I'm living here soon, and I'm forcing myself to get comfortable.
