Ok...I know you posted this a way long time ago...but here is my response since you tagged me.
I have tossed around some ideas about my wedding, (which is looking like it's gonna be a loooooong way off at the rate i'm going...). and I do have a couple of ideas. With my "dream wedding," I think more in terms of colors, since I'm kinda on the artsy side and have a somewhat strong background in fashion design and fashion color schemes, etc., when I see certain colors at a craft store in magazines that I'm drawn too, then I get ideas....and some of them, (don't worry I won't spill all the beans here, but I will email you at some point and give you some ideas...this is why I wanna be an event planner...but you will see that in the email...)
#1: A halloween wedding. The ceremony would be on the formal side, but the reception would be totally chill and not formal at all. As far as colors go, I'm thinkin' black, orange, lime green, and deep purple for the reception, but the brides maids dresses would be like a burgandy or goldenrod color for the ceremony, and of course they would be something simple, yet elegant that people can wear again....more details about this will be in the email.
#2: A spring wedding outside. This would be semi-formal, and would need some kind of shelter from any inclement weather since it always rains in the spring. The color scheme would be light pink, blue, white, off white, lavender, and fushia, just to add some brightness to the flowers. And again, the dresses would be something that people could wear again. I'm all for recycling dresses. hahaha.
#3: A winter wedding. This is the one that I think I leaning toward. This would be super formal, and at the most beautiful church/reception hall that I could find, (we're assuming money is no object here...which of course will happen as soon as colin farrell comes to my house and professes his love for me and tells me he wants to marry me...or as soon as nikki sixx divorces donna d'erico and comes and convinces my mother that he's not a coke head or heroine junkie anymore and that our kids won't be asking grandma and grandpa for a hit..hahhahaahaha). The colors would be crimson red, black and white. The dresses though, would be something big and flow-y, (meaning a non-recycleable dress,haha), and each dress would be a different style....the bridal party would be able to pick whatever cut/style they wanted, as long as they stick to the crimson red color.
